Succeeders Academy
Be On Top Succeeders Academy, formerly known as Private Tutor Academy, was founded by Michelle CN Augustine on June 1st, 2019, before the global pandemic. The journey began during the summer of 2013 when Michelle was hired by her uncle to teach Mathematics to his four children, who were in both primary and secondary school. Having earned a distinction with all A-profiles in Mathematics at the CSEC level, she was seen as someone who could truly help struggling students.
Although she felt the desire to officially start a tutoring business in 2018, she hesitated due to a lack of resources. During that time, she worked as a clerical assistant at a private college and was inspired by the story of the school’s founder, who began giving lessons in his gallery. Encouraged by this, she decided to start with what she had. On June 1st, 2019, she launched her teaching business, which has since grown into a reputable academy serving students across Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, and soon students from other Caribbean countries, both in-person and online.
Today, Be On Top Succeeders Academy supports secondary school students, adult learners, and repeaters in preparing for CXC CSEC examinations, including Mathematics, English A, Social Studies, Principles of Business Office Administration, Principles of Business, and many more. We also offer academic success challenges and business growth initiatives that focus on time management, entrepreneurship, and personal development. Many of our students have experienced academic breakthroughs and steady improvement, whether preparing for SEA or CSEC examinations.

We provide flexible learning options, both online and in-person (temporarily unavailable), to serve in-school students and adult learners alike. Our mission is to empower every learner with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel academically and in life.

About Michelle CN Augustine
Michelle CN Augustine is the Founder and Principal of Be On Top Succeeders Academy. She began her academic turnaround by the grace of God, moving from a place of failure to top performance. Michelle was awarded for Excellent Performance in CSEC Mathematics (May/June 2011), Outstanding Performance in the NCSE (2009), and Most Improved Student at her primary school graduation in 2006. She completed part of her A' Levels at Carapichaima East Secondary School in 2013 and went on to study at the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC), where she maintained a GPA of 3.65 and above, graduated with honours, and made the Dean’s Honour Roll most semesters.
While balancing college, her business, and church ministry, Michelle also authored the eBook titled “5 Essential Steps to Sustainable Success”, and a few other ebooks sharing practical tools and mindset shifts that helped her overcome stress and frustration in college and overcome failure in secondary school.
Her story is one of transformation, guided by faith, strengthened by discipline, and driven by a passion to help others succeed in school, in business, and in life.
